With the album starting its roots in 2015, a lot of songs on this album have went through many changes and mixes to make them the sound they are today. Metronome is the earliest song on the album, followed by Princess and Wasted. Each one of these haven't just gone through basic changes, they're lyrics have been re-written many times, re-arranged and mixes many more over 3 years to bring them up to scratch. Supermodel going through a similar life but for just over a year. Other songs on the album came together in two weeks from writing to the final track - showing the improvement and the creation of the album.

Supermodel came about in late 2016 for the lyrics and early 2017 for the original arrangement. The lyrics came after a day trip to Oslo, Norway (Flying out of London) then flying into Copenhagen, Denmark that evening for a few more days. To Dan, a lot of people he saw looked like models in his eyes - weather it be model citizens, as beautiful as models etc... but every normal person was a model. But one girl stood out from the rest of everyone there... but if everyone were models, another word needed to be used to describe this girl. Supermodel. Within a couple of minutes in conversation before parting separate ways forever, Dan created a base lyric for the song - being about flying around the world on a crazy themed life. Running away with someone beautiful. And so the song Supermodel was born.

Princess was written early 2016 after a day out with someone who later became fairly good friends with Dan over that year. Dan was invited to look at a new range of cinema cameras at Pinewood Studios, London because of his work in film. This was a special event due to there were only 3 of each camera in the world at that time. Being at college at the time, it deemed an amazing experience to share with someone there; and so he brought along a friend. Over the course of the day, the pair grew a little closer together which was hard due to Dan ending a relationship at the same time. In the following months, Dan started falling into a depressive situation which hindered his life and is current work - sometimes feeling like the main fuel is a growing feeling and fondness for the person from the trip. They were worried about traveling to a new University out of the area which kept sparking Dans imagination of a fresh start, hence the traveling feeling of the song. Traveling distances to see them settled in, leaving London to venture back to another European city where they came from.

July 2018 was a month where life took an odd turn. This was the re-startup of Dan in media as well as joining back into life. Its no shock to anyone who knows Dan knows a night out is always a thing to easily be done, and is needed with the increasing workload. 1 Block, 2 Block came around from driving around West and Central London picking up equipment to be able to work on other songs to start completing the album. Whilst driving around, Dan found many bars plus people out on a Saturday night stumbling around the streets. Nights out in London with friends has always been a highlight of the week and Dan started planning a pub crawl, but when the bars then nightclubs shut down after... what happens next? Dan normally continues his night out inside until 6am (like lots of younger people do - an afterparty), but being away from home with no driving allowed given the state of everyone, dancing in the streets seemed a good alternative. This plan translated into Lyrics. With vocal help from Machiko Hibari, sounding like another person in the friend group that was out all night, the song was created; and quickly became a favourite of Dans.

One of the newer songs on the album comes 'Like You'. Inspired by Dan's time on YouTube in the past before quitting in 2016 mixed with the feeling of meeting someone out of this world. Mixing love and careers might not always be a good idea but sometimes it can be magical. Taking inspiration from fantasy books (Most notable 'Alice In Wonderland') This book mixes a lot of magic into a light pop style house song.

Got Seoul came from the growing inspiration of K-pop plus later unreleased Dance and House music in experimental session. Its always been a dream of Dans to end up in Seoul to experience concerts, the music, the culture and general feeling of its growing and vibrant media industry. Mixed with the general idea of 1 Block, 2 Block, the songs base lyrics from Dan came from a party out with friends to solve feeling upset. Rap lyrics written by DaBigYL....................................... And just like that, the EDM/Melbourne Bounce song, Got Seoul was formed.

The second oldest song on the album, Metronome was written whilst still at school in the final years. Dan just wanted to get exams over and build up his film and music career, getting on with life. Plus, Dan was working as head of Doorstep Productions (a local ex-youtuber network) and needed music to expand into a music and podcast channel - and so Metronome was created. With the passion for partying, loud music - mixed with the fact that 16 year olds (the good ones anyway) don't drink or smoke so music is all Dan had. The lyrics resulted into an a school-like atmosphere whilst the catchy baseline was a result of improving music into a more professional standard that many songs in the past.

2016 was a bad year for many people, Dan heavily included. Dan started falling into depression and out of media, whilst starting to drink fairly heavily towards the end of the year which resulted in a major suecide attempt near the end that attacked the liver that had been processing so much over the year physically.
